poem : goddess, hell-bound

she walks with

red in her cheeks, silken skin

godless and wandering,

weightless –

and, storming, and drowning in the wonder

of a night well-lived.

this is how she comes to you,

reeking of smoke and mortality,

will you hold me, lover?

a whisper. your answer is left in marks on her hips.
